SECURING YOUR BOOKING
Bridal
The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid the non-refundable deposit of 50% of balance to the makeup artist.
Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist’s services for the event.
Upon booking a specific time, date and location must be provided.
Private Client
The booking of event makeup is only reserved once the client has paid the non-refundable deposit of 50% balance to the makeup artist. Upon booking a specific time, date and location must be provided.
Commercial
A specified date, time and place must be given in writing to the makeup artist via email. The Client will also sign a Deal Memo, with Christina B Lomas Makeup, outlining the terms of the job, compensation, late fees, overtime and payment, prior to the job. Moving image projects must provide the makeup artist with a call sheet.
2. PAYMENTS
Payments can be made via bank transfer or Cash.
Bridal
The non-refundable deposit of 50% paid by the client will be deducted from final balance due.
The trial must be paid either prior or cash on the date of the trial.
The final balance is to be paid in full by the client within 7 days of the event.**
Failure to pay the deposit will result in the date being released.
Private Client
The non-refundable deposit of 50% paid by the client will be deducted from final balance due.
Failure to pay the deposit will result in the appointment being released.
Commercial
An invoice* will be sent to company or individual responsible for the hiring of Makeup Artist- Cancellation and late fees apply.**
*Invoices are to be paid within 30 days of receipt unless discussed beforehand.
**Failure to pay within the given time limit a late fee of 2% per day will be added.
3. TRAVEL EXPENSES
Travel expenses will be added to the final balance.
4. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT
The client shall inform the make up artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any known conditions.
The make up artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members the party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions / abusive and threatening behaviour.
7. CANCELLATIONS
Bridal
The client at any point, in writing, can cancel the appointment.
The make up artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation (The depsoit, however the client will not be liable for any further payments.
The client can cancel a trial at any point however a trial cancelled with less then 24 hours notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.
Private Client
The client at any point, in writing can, cancel the appointment.
The make up artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will not be liable for any further payments.
Cancellations made by the make up artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the makeup artists performance of their obligations where no other suitable alternative can be offered, a full refund will be given to the client. No further compensation will be offered.
Commercial
The client at any point in writing can cancel the Job. However Cancellation fees may apply
A 50% of rate will be invoiced to company if cancellation is within 48-24hrs of the start of the job
An 100% rate will be invoiced to company if cancellation is less than 24hrs beforehand.
8. PHOTOGRAPHY, IMAGES, FILM.
Private & Bridal
The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artists website and social media pages. This includes photos taken by Christina (possibly before and after photos) and photos taken by a/your professional photographer.
Commercial
Company or Individual must disclose where and how images and/or Moving image will be used. The makeup artist may use any photography and/or Film for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artists website and social media pages. The makeup artist must receive full credit wherever the images or moving image are used.
